8.6/10

Pros

  • Strong and durable
  • Comfortable ride
  • Upright handlebars
  • Variety of colors and sizes

Cons

  • Heavy frame

The Critical Cycles Beaumont is a lady’s urban city commuter bike that offers an amazing, comfortable ride on-road. The steel frame offers a very sturdy construction, but isn’t exactly as lightweight than other hybrids in this review. The Lady’s Beaumont offers a very minimalist design and is available in four colors including turquoise, coral, black and cream.

The women’s Beaumont features a very efficient Shimano 7-Speed Revoshift Grip-Twist Shifter which means more speed, and effortless riding. This city commuter also boasts front and rear alloy dual caliper brakes, 700c Stars Deep-V double-wall alloy rim. Shimano Derailleur, center mount kickstand, fender, and an old fashioned classic bell.

Just like most other Critical Cycles hybrids, this one comes 85% assembled, but is very easy to finish the job with the easy to follow directions.

Critical Cycles Diamond Frame 7-Speed Shimano Hybrid Bicycle Review

8.5/10

Pros

  • Affordable
  • Extra accessories
  • Good quality components
  • Available in different sizes

Cons

  • Some assembly is required
  • Outdated appearance

The Diamond Frame 7-speed is a high-quality Shimano hybrid which features high quality parts, extra features, and is very affordable. Coming in slightly more than the top-rated hybrid in this review is what keeps it from scoring any higher than an 8.5, but when looking at the overall quality it’s right up there with the best bike in this review.

The Diamond Frame 7-Speed is available in three colors including cream, black, and green. The vintage look of Critical Cycles hybrid bikes is what separates them from other manufacturers and this one is no different. Complimented by a lightweight hand-built classic urban fork, Neco sealed cartridge bearing, Alloy riser city bars, 700c Stars Deep-V Double-Wall Alloy Rim, Shimano derailleurs, and Kenda Kwest 700 tires and tubes.

The only concern for some will be that it doesn’t come fully assembled, but it does come with very easy to understand directions which make the assembly process easy enough for anyone.

Conclusion

When looking for the best Critical Cycles hybrid bike this year, hands-down it’s the Diamond Frame 1-speed. If you have any experience with any of the above hybrid bicycles, be sure to share with us in the comment section below.
